Major and Minor Impacts

    In the years that followed, the disk record proved to be less than successful. It had many mistakes and encountered lots of errors along the way. Berliner and Eldridge R. Johnson started to work together to make repairs to both the phonograph and the disk record. This happened between 1896 and 1897. After some tedious time of readjusting, the phonograph and the disk record were fully functional and proved to be a huge success. Business boomed and profits were through the roof. Advertizements for them were everywhere and within a few years, everyone owned a phonograph and a few disk records. In a short time, Berliner released a double sided record, where there was a different album on each side of the record. This was also hugely successful and sold a lot as well.
